How to Set Up the I-SPA Sauna - It's Easy!

Prior to using the sauna, we recommend that you remove your jewelry such as rings, watches, necklaces, and bracelets. Ensure you are not dehydrated prior to use of sauna or at least have a glass of water before session. Always have your water bottle handy and a towel. We recommend not to apply any lotions or creams prior to treatment as we feel it only blocks the benefits of the infrared sauna. For intital usage you should start at a lower temperature to allow the body to get used to this type of heat. It is no different than any type of exercise start slow and work up.

Be careful not to bring the device into contact with sharp objects to avoid damage during installation or dismantling.

1. Open the Sauna tent fully and position it so that the walls stand up. Close zipper along the floor of the tent only, pulling it from the rear wall towards the front. This leaves the main opening unzipped.
2. Through the main opening at front of the tent place the PE (Polyethelene) foam on the floor with the smooth side upwards.

3. Place ceramic heater on the foam floor where diagram on the foam indicates. Guide heater cord (1) through floor opening at rear left of tent, and connect it with the port of the main electronic control, using heater cord (2).

4. Place the folding chair on the floor above the ceramic heater.
5. Wrap your neck with a towel each time before using the sauna to prevent sweat from dripping into the tent and producing an unpleasant odor.
6. It is suggested that you drink 300-500 cc of water before using the sauna. Sit down on the chair and get comfortable. Then zip up the main opening.
7. Extend your arms from the arm openings. Ensuring hands are dry, take the handheld controller and set the working time and temperature as per the instructions in the manual.

8. It depends on your preference whether you use the ceramic heater. But generally speaking, it will improve the sauna experience, and is required when outside temperatures are cooler.
9. Do not allow calves to touch the surface of the ceramic heater or the chair leg during heating, to avoid risk of burns. Heater surface reaches a temperature of 90°C. Do not allow anything to cover the heater.
10. When the heat reaches a preset temperature during heating, the ceramic heater will shut itself off automatically. When the temperature inside the sauna tent drops lower than the temperature setting, the ceramic heater will re-start. The cycle will repeat continuously.
11. It is recommended that you stay in the tent for 5 minutes after using. Then unplug the device and take a hot shower.
12. Be sure to keep clean according to practices of good hygiene (see Cleaning & Storage in manual).

 

How to Set-up and Use of Thermal Energy Bag / Slimming Bag

1. Ensure all plugs are plugged into outlets on the rear before turning on the chief operating switch of the power supply plug in unit to wall outlet.

2. Press chief operating switch at back/rear of machine box (fan will start)

3. Press ON/OFF button on face of unit. Defaults should be 38 degrees celcius for temperature and 30 minutes for times. (note: Temperature minimum 30 degrees celcius and maximum 60 degrees celcis) Timer minimum is 5 minutes to a maximum of 95 minutes)

4. Adjust temperature to desired liking.

5. Adjust timer to preferred session time (- decrease time and + increase the time)

6. Press START/STOP button.

7. Wipe down with a towel and allow to air before folding (if possible).


When the session is over you will hear three (3) beeps. Press the START/STOP button and ON/OFF as well as the switch on the rear of the machine.


NOTE: The overload display light only comes on if the state of power overload. When the power surpasses 300W, the LED light will show and a beeper will sound. Turn everything off and unplug and regain session after cooling.
